Inspired by the repeating patterns found in Cairo’s stone carvings and traditional tilework, the Zellij Scarf turns architectural rhythm into a flowing textile design.
Fine running stitches move across rich burgundy wool gabardine, meeting hand-embroidered eight-pointed stars — a classic motif from Islamic geometry. The layered stitching adds depth and a soft glow, reflecting the patterned surfaces of historic mosques at sunset.
