Ready for Tomorrow: Phase II – Empowering Youth for Entrepreneurial Success

We are proud to announce the launch of Phase II of Ready for Tomorrow, a flagship initiative in collaboration between Buttonup and Plan International Egypt. Building on the achievements of the first phase, this program takes a bold step forward to equip young people with the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to transform their ideas into thriving businesses.

Why Phase II Matters

Egypt’s youth represent one of the country’s greatest assets. Yet, many face barriers when it comes to turning their entrepreneurial aspirations into reality, whether due to limited access to training, mentorship, or startup capital. Phase II of Ready for Tomorrow is designed to bridge these gaps and create real pathways for sustainable livelihoods.

Training 400+ Youth

Through this phase, Buttonup will deliver comprehensive entrepreneurial training to more than 400 young people across different communities. The program will focus on:

• Business Planning: Guiding participants through idea development, feasibility studies, and financial planning.

• Practical Skills: Hands-on sessions covering marketing, branding, and product development.

• Sustainability & Social Impact: Encouraging youth to design businesses that are both profitable and socially responsible.

By the end of the program, participants will not only sharpen their entrepreneurial skills but also gain confidence to pitch their ideas in front of experts and potential partners.

Seed Funding for Promising Projects

Training is only the first step. To ensure real impact, selected projects with strong and viable business plans will receive seed funding. This financial support will help young entrepreneurs move from concept to execution, creating income-generating ventures that can sustain themselves and even grow to employ others.
